G55 greenwoodprotect,
the natural fire extinguishing agent
G55 greenwoodprotect®, bekämpft alle Brände der Brandklasse A und B ist biologisch abbaubar und dient nach der Brandbekämpfung als natürlicher Dünger.
G55 forms a mixture with water that is ready for immediate use and increases the extinguishing power of water by a factor of 100. Special foaming equipment or other special equipment is not required. However, they can be used with it.
G55 is also excellent for containing forest fires and wildfires.
G55 is an agent that can be added to the extinguishing water in different concentrations. (up to 100 times the extinguishing effect) - Ideal for extinguishing small sources of fire/nests of fire with a portable sprayer.
A 20 litre G55 mixture extinguishes about as strongly as 2000 litres of water (depending on the mixing ratio).
G55 is used without prior foaming with air or other gases and remains watery as a jet or droplet until it enters the flame front.
G55 contains components that form an aqueous film on burning fuel surfaces, which in turn forms a barrier layer between the fuel and the open flame and ensures rapid spread of the extinguishing concentrate. Re-ignitions are thus made more difficult.
G55 extinguishing agent is thrown as a compact jet into the flame front and reaches the same throwing distances as water.
G55 extinguishing agent remains watery until it hits the source of the flames and can therefore also be used effectively on fires involving bulk and stacked materials, as it can penetrate right up to the pockets of embers.
G55 forms a mixture with water that is ready for immediate use. Special foaming equipment or other special equipment is not required. However, they can also be used.
G55 is added to the extinguishing water in the required concentration via a proportioner.
G55 can be carried as a premixed solution in a pressure-resistant and pressure-tight tank.
G55 was specially developed for combating burning liquids.
In the case of fires of non-polar liquids, an aqueous film forms on the surface of the liquid after application of G55, which spreads immediately, enables rapid extinguishing and prevents re-ignitions.
The recommended admixture for Class B fires is 15 %, for some polar liquids, such as alcohols in particular, the admixture may be higher.
Fire class A: Fires of solid materials, mainly organic in nature, which normally burn with the formation of embers (e.g. wood, paper, straw, textiles, coal, car tyres). G55 remains liquid until it hits the flame source, which makes it particularly suitable for fires of bulk and stacked materials. When G55 is used, the use of extinguishing agents is significantly reduced and fires are extinguished more quickly and safely. This results in a significantly lower environmental impact. In addition, insurance claims resulting from excessive use of extinguishing agents are significantly reduced. G55 is an excellent extinguishing agent for fighting forest fires, as it can be used both from the ground and from the air and has the ability to penetrate into deeper regions.
Fire class B: Fires of liquid substances or substances that become liquid (e.g. petrol, benzene, oils, fats, varnishes, tar, ether, stearin, paraffin).
G55 is also excellent for containing forest fires and wildfires.
Example of manual fire fighting:
A pressure sprayer with 20 litres G55-mixture extinguishes about as strongly as 2000 litres of water (depending on mixing ratio)
